TORONTO, ON – Advance polls are open in Ontario and voters who are sick and tired of expensive politicians like Andrea Horwath and Kathleen Wynne should start making their voices heard, Ontario Proud founder Jeff Ballingall said today.
“Hardworking taxpayers have had enough of the high tax, big spending policies of the Wynne Liberals. An NDP government won’t be any different,” Ballingall said. “It’s time for voters to tell Wynne and Horwath that they are fed up and cast a vote against them.”
The Liberals and NDP have the same policies on all the things that matter to Ontario families. They’ll both keep gas prices high by jacking up gas taxes. They both support the job-killing carbon tax. And, both Wynne and Horwath will run up big deficits with taxpayer-funded spending sprees.
Since 2003, Liberals added $14,000 per person to the provincial debt. An NDP government plans to deepen the Wynne Liberal’s debt spiral by going a whopping $5.1 billion in the red in 2020.
“Only by getting out and voting will we put an end to the irresponsible and expensive policies of the NDP and the Wynne Liberals,” Ballingall explained. “We must show up at the polls in force to send a strong message.”
Advance voting for the 2018 General Election begins today and will go until May 30 at advance voting locations, and until June 1 at returning offices. Advance voting hours are from 10:00 A.M. to 8:00 P.M. For more information, visit the Elections Ontario website at https://www.elections.on.ca/en.html .
