To the Leaders of Canada's Political Parties:
Despite being convicted of first degree murder, Tori Stafford's killer has been released to a minimum-security "healing lodge" reserved for aboriginal offenders.
It is totally unacceptable that someone as dangerous as Terri-Lynne McClintic would be released to a minimum security prison.
We are calling on Canada's political leaders to bring common sense back to our justice system.
We are asking that you pass a law which states any individual convicted of the murder of a child spend the entirety of their sentence in a maximum security prison. There should be no exceptions.
We propose that you call this legislation Tori's Law.
